Vodafone Group Plc announced that Aldo Bisio will step down as CEO of Vodafone Italy and a Group Executive Committee Member on November 15, 2024, to pursue an external opportunity. Following this, Aldo will remain a non-executive member of the Board of Directors of Vodafone Italy to oversee the regulatory approval process of the sale of Vodafone Italy to Swisscom. Sabrina Casalta, the current CFO of Vodafone Italy, will be appointed as the Interim CEO of Vodafone Italy from November 15, 2024, until the completion of the sale.

Margherita Della Valle, Vodafone Group Chief Executive, expressed gratitude to Aldo for his significant contributions to the business in Italy and the wider Vodafone Group. She acknowledged Aldo's successful leadership in Italy, where Vodafone competed effectively and introduced innovations adopted in other markets. Additionally, she thanked him for leading the simplification and streamlining of the Group's commercial operations. Della Valle also appreciated Aldo's commitment to ensuring a smooth transition as the transaction with Swisscom concludes.
