St. James's Place PLC has announced the appointment of Caroline Waddington as the Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Craig Gentle, who will be retiring from the business. Caroline brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at UBS, Credit Suisse, Barclays Capital, RBS, and Deutsche Bank. The Board conducted an extensive selection process, and her appointment is subject to regulatory approvals. Craig will facilitate an orderly handover before stepping down as a Director. Caroline Waddington's appointment is subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. The effective date of her appointment to the Board and Craig Gentle's retirement from the Board are yet to be confirmed. Caroline's remuneration arrangements have been set in accordance with the Directors' Remuneration Policy approved by shareholders at the 2023 AGM on 18 May 2023.
