J Sainsbury plc held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and announced the results of the poll vote for each resolution. All resolutions were approved by shareholders. The first resolution, to receive and adopt the Company's audited Annual Report and Financial Statements for the 52 weeks to 2 March 2024, received 100% of votes cast in favor. The second resolution, to approve the Annual Report on Remuneration, received 98.60% of votes in favor. The third resolution, to declare a final dividend of 9.2 pence per ordinary share, received 99.82% of votes in favor.

The AGM also included the re-election of directors. All directors were re-elected, with the highest percentage of votes in favor being 99.98% for the re-election of Simon Roberts as a Director. The lowest percentage of votes in favor was 94.19% for the resolution to authorize the Company to call a general meeting on not less than 14 clear days' notice.

The total number of voting rights as at 2 July 2024 was 2,366,713,275 shares of 284/7 pence. Copies of the resolutions that do not constitute ordinary business at an annual general meeting will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection. The voting results will also be made available on the Company's website.
