Redde Northgate PLC has announced a proposed company name change to ZIGUP plc and is calling a general meeting for Wednesday 15 May 2024 to seek approval for the change. The decision to rebrand is aligned with the company's strategic shift towards delivering differentiated mobility solutions and embracing new opportunities, including through acquisitions that have delivered meaningful value and enhanced capabilities. The new brand and company name, ZIGUP, are allied to a refreshed strategic framework under the new pillars of Enable, Deliver, and Grow, reflecting the strength and breadth of the current proposition as an enlarged group of businesses.
The proposed name change is aimed at reflecting the changes in the company's strategic direction and is aligned with the updated purpose of 'to keep customers moving, smarter.' The roll-out of the new brand is expected to commence on 20 May 2024, with legal registration of the name change by the UK Companies Registry expected to occur no later than 25 May 2024. The Board believes that a more modern brand and name reflecting these changes will help shift the narrative with all stakeholders towards the strategic direction of travel set out by the company.
The General Meeting will take place at 09.00 a.m. on Wednesday 15 May 2024 at the offices of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP, Governor's House, 5 Laurence Pountney Hill, London, EC4R 0BR. The Notice of General Meeting, including details of how shareholders can appoint a proxy, has been sent to shareholders and is available for inspection at the National Storage Mechanism. Further information on the new strategic pillars, company name, and brand is available on the company's website.
