Prudential PLC has announced the grant of options over 344,367 new ordinary shares to certain non-employees under the Prudential International Savings-Related Share Option Scheme for Non-Employees (ISSOSNE). The options were granted on October 1, 2023, and have an exercise price of GBP 7.75 per share, representing not less than 80% of the market value of the shares. The options can be exercised during the respective maturity periods of December 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, or December 1, 2028, to May 31, 2029. The vesting period is 3 or 5 years from the date of grant. The grants are designed to incentivize and retain individuals closely connected with the group, such as insurance agents, and align their interests with the long-term interests of Prudential. None of the grantees are directors, chief executives, substantial shareholders, or associates of Prudential.
