Prudential PLC has announced the purchase of 7,905 of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each through Barclays Capital Securities Ltd on the London Stock Exchange. The purchase was made in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's 2023 Annual General Meeting. The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares, leaving it with 2,749,669,380 shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.

The shares were purchased from the Bank as an on-exchange transaction subject to the rules of the London Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-backs. The Company has provided a detailed schedule of purchases, including the volume-weighted average price, aggregated volume, lowest price per share, and highest price per share for each venue where the purchases were made.
