Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc has provided an update on its Guercif Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) project in Morocco. The company has opened discussions with a group focused on the downstream energy business to potentially sell its share of gas produced at the well head, subject to an approved CNG development plan. In order to accelerate negotiations for the sale of its share of gas, the company has amended its rigless testing program, with MOU-3 now being the first well to be tested. This will establish the potential to maximize gas flow rates and set commercial parameters for the sale of the company's share of potential gas produced. The company is confident that the testing program will deliver the results necessary to progress commercial negotiations for the offtake of its share of future potential CNG gas. Rigless testing of MOU-3 using conventional perforating guns is forecast to begin on or before October 16, 2023. The company is also in discussions with several parties regarding the financing of the CNG development, with funds set aside in the company's balance sheet potentially being re-purposed for follow-up appraisal drilling.
