Lloyds Banking Group PLC has released a notification of transactions by Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities (PDMRs) in ordinary shares of the group. The transactions involve the reinvestment of the final dividend for 2023 paid by the group on 21 May 2024. The PDMRs involved in the acquisitions include Kate Cheetham, Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary, who acquired 2,018 shares; Stephen Shelley, Chief Risk Officer, who acquired 2,218 shares; Jas Singh, CEO Consumer Lending, who acquired 100 shares; and John Winter, who acquired 18,454 shares.
The acquisitions were made through the reinvestment of the final dividend for 2023 on shares held in the Lloyds Banking Group plc Share Incentive Plan. The transactions took place on the London Stock Exchange (XLON) on 21 May 2024. Additionally, Jas Singh acquired 36,524 shares through the reinvestment of the final dividend for 2023 for shares held in a Global Nominee Account, with the transaction taking place on 22 May 2024.
The notification, made pursuant to Article 19(3) of the Market Abuse Regulation, provides detailed information on the transactions, including the names and positions of the PDMRs, the nature of the transactions, the volume and price of the shares, and the dates and places of the transactions.
