Hipgnosis Songs Fund Limited has announced that it is seeking an indemnity from Merck Mercuriadis and Hipgnosis Songs Management Limited, the majority-owned Investment Adviser, following High Court proceedings. The Investment Adviser, owned by funds managed and/or advised by Blackstone, has refused to provide the indemnity. Mr. Mercuriadis has also declined to indemnify the company against liabilities arising from his alleged misconduct.
