Halma, the global group of life-saving technology companies, has completed two bolt-on acquisitions for a total consideration of approximately £46.5m. In the Environmental and Analysis sector, Halma's company Alicat Scientific, Inc. has acquired the Alpha Instrumatics Group. Alpha Instrumatics designs and manufactures devices for high-precision measurement of trace moisture in gases, used in industries such as industrial gas and aerospace. The initial cash consideration for Alpha Instrumatics is £31m, with additional earn-out considerations payable based on performance. In the Healthcare sector, Halma's company IZI Medical Products LLC has acquired AprioMed AB, which designs, manufactures, and distributes medical devices used for bone biopsies. The consideration for AprioMed is SEK130m (approximately £10m). Both acquisitions align with Halma's purpose and financial model and bring complementary capabilities to Alicat and IZI Medical.
