Focusrite PLC has released its final results for the year ended 31 August 2023. The company reported a revenue decrease of 2.9%, reflecting an organic constant currency decrease of 9.5%. Content Creation revenue was down by 9.7%, while Audio Reproduction revenue grew by 30.1%. Gross margin increased by 2.2% points, and adjusted EBITDA was down 7.4% from the previous year. The company launched 32 new products throughout the year, including the 4th generation of its flagship Scarlett audio interface. Focusrite also completed the acquisition of Sonnox, a software provider, for £7.2 million. The company recommended a final dividend of 4.5p, resulting in a total dividend of 6.6p for the year, up 10% from the previous year. CEO Tim Carroll commented that despite challenging macroeconomic conditions, the company delivered a resilient performance and remains optimistic about future prospects. The Annual Report and Accounts will be available on the company's website by 20 December 2023. The final dividend is subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting on 19 January 2024.
