Filtronic plc, a designer and manufacturer of products for various markets including aerospace, defense, telecoms infrastructure, space, and critical communications, has provided an update ahead of its Annual General Meeting. The company is confident of delivering full-year results in line with market expectations based on trading in the financial year to date and the outlook for the remainder of FY2024. Filtronic has made good progress against its key objectives for FY2024, including securing two significant contract wins in the high-growth Low Earth Orbit (LEO) space market. These contracts strengthen the company's relationship with a global market leader for LEO Broadband connectivity and establish an important engagement with the European Space Agency, expanding the total addressable market. Filtronic's key engineering developments, such as the Cerus 32 solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) and MMIC development at W-band, are progressing well and expected to drive demand in the LEO base station market and enable future terrestrial telecom backhaul solutions. The company's Remuneration Committee has agreed to increase the dilution limit attributable to share option schemes to 12.5% of the company's issued share capital, over any rolling 10-year period, in order to attract and retain talent. Filtronic will announce its half-year results for the six months ended 30 November 2023 on 6 February 2024.
