Essentra PLC has announced the purchase of 11,500 of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each from Peel Hunt LLP as part of the buyback program. The transaction took place on July 1, 2024, with the lowest and highest price paid per share being 159.6000 GBp. The volume-weighted average price paid per share was also 159.6000 GBp. Following the settlement of these purchases and their cancellation, Essentra will have 287,935,744 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in issue, excluding 3,627,057 ordinary shares held in treasury.

Essentra intends to cancel the purchased ordinary shares, and upon cancellation, the total number of voting rights in Essentra will be 287,935,744. This figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations to determine if they are required to notify their interest in the company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

The company provided detailed and aggregated information of the individual trades made by Peel Hunt LLP as part of the Buyback Programme, in accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014. The announcement was made in compliance with the requirements of Listing Rule 12.4.6.
