Empire Metals Limited has announced the results of the final 22 Reverse Circulation (RC) drillholes at the Pitfield Project in Western Australia, confirming higher grades of TiO2 mineralisation in the near-surface, highly weathered zone of bedrock. The analytical lab results revealed consistently higher TiO2 grades in the uppermost 40m of mineralised bedded sandstone, with all holes identifying high-grade TiO2 mineralisation from near surface to end of hole. The successful drill programme, totaling 107 holes for 17,003m, will be used to delineate JORC Exploration Targets at both Cosgrove and Thomas areas.

The company has completed four diamond drillholes with excellent core recovery from the surface, and the logging of the diamond drill core has confirmed significant near-surface weathering of the sandstones coincident with higher TiO2 grades. Shaun Bunn, Managing Director, expressed delight in the latest results, highlighting the identification of significantly higher TiO2 grades within the highly oxidised saprolite zone found near the surface. Additionally, Snowden Optiro, an Australian mining and resources consulting and advisory group, has been appointed to provide independent advice and support for the exploration team.

The Pitfield Project, located in Western Australia, is strategically positioned with existing connections to port, HV power substations, and natural gas pipelines. The region is known for its mining-friendly policies, stable government, transparency, and advanced technology expertise. The completed drill programme, consisting of 40 RC drillholes and four diamond core drillholes, has proven the extent and grade of the mineralisation at the key prospects, Cosgrove and Thomas, each being over 7km in strike length.

The company is looking forward to releasing the results of the mineralogical and metallurgical studies in the next few weeks, as well as the delineation of a resource development Exploration Target for the Cosgrove and Thomas prospects. The announcement reflects the company's commitment to advancing its mineral resource development program and leveraging the expertise of industry-leading consultants to support its exploration activities.
