Eden Research PLC held its Annual General Meeting, where all resolutions were successfully passed. The company, focused on sustainable biopesticides and plastic-free formulation technologies, is the only UK-listed company in this sector. Its products are formulated with terpene active ingredients, based on natural plant defense metabolites, and have shown equal or better performance compared to conventional pesticides. Eden has three products currently on the market: Mevalone®, a foliar biofungicide; Cedroz™, a bionematicide; and Ecovelex, a seed treatment product designed to tackle crop destruction caused by birds.

Mevalone® targets a key disease affecting grapes and other high-value fruit and vegetable crops, while Cedroz™ targets free-living nematodes that affect a wide range of high-value fruit and vegetable crops globally. Ecovelex works by creating an unpleasant taste or odor that repels birds, leaving the seeds safely intact and the birds unaffected. Eden's Sustaine® encapsulation technology, used to harness the biocidal efficacy of naturally occurring chemicals produced by plants, is one of the only viable, proven, and immediately registerable solutions to the microplastics problem in formulations requiring encapsulation.

The company was awarded the London Stock Exchange Green Economy Mark in January 2021, recognizing its contribution to the global green economy. Eden derives 100% of its total annual revenues from sustainable products and services. The company was admitted to trading on AIM on May 11, 2012, and trades under the symbol EDEN. The successful passing of resolutions at the Annual General Meeting reflects the continued support for Eden's initiatives in sustainable agriculture and biopesticides.
