Eden Research PLC has announced the appointment of Daniel Mulas García as the new Global Product and Marketing Leader. Daniel brings extensive experience in sustainable crop protection, having worked as Product Manager, Biostimulants and Biocontrol for Sipcam Iberia. He holds a Master's degree in Agronomical Engineering and a PhD in Agronomy from the Universidad de León. Daniel's role will involve aligning Eden's products with the needs of farmers and maximizing revenue growth through expanding the company's product portfolio.

Sean Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Eden Research, expressed his pleasure in welcoming Daniel to the team, highlighting the intent to strengthen the company's product and market knowledge. He also emphasized the focus on expanding social media presence and utilizing new tools to identify emerging opportunities associated with regulatory changes in the industry. This appointment reflects the company's commitment to enhancing its commercial capabilities, supported by a stronger balance sheet and increasing revenue.

Eden Research is the only UK-listed company focused on biopesticides for sustainable agriculture. Their products are formulated with terpene active ingredients, based on natural plant defense metabolites. The company's current products include Mevalone®, a foliar biofungicide targeting a key disease affecting grapes and other high-value fruit and vegetable crops, Cedroz™, a bionematicide targeting parasitic worms affecting various crops, and Ecovelex, a seed treatment product designed to tackle crop destruction caused by birds. Additionally, Eden's Sustaine® encapsulation technology is used to enhance the performance and ease-of-use of natural and synthetic compounds, providing a viable, proven, and immediately registerable solution to the microplastics problem in formulations requiring encapsulation.
