Dowlais Group PLC has announced the purchase of its ordinary shares through Investec Bank plc as part of its £50 million share buy-back program. The company bought 49,172 ordinary shares at prices ranging from 82.2 pence to 82.75 pence per share, with a weighted average price of 82.433 pence per share. The purchased shares will be canceled, and as a result, the company holds no ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,389,545,272 ordinary shares in issue.

Following the transaction, the total number of voting rights in the company will be 1,389,545,272. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
