CyanConnode Holdings plc has announced that it has received an order for 500,000 Omnimesh Modules from IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited. The order is part of a smart metering deployment project for Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Limited (MGVCL), a utility located in Gujarat, India. This order is the third received under a Strategic Framework Agreement for 3 million modules, bringing the total number of modules ordered under the agreement to 1.4 million. The supply of Omnimesh Modules for this project is expected to begin in Q3 FY 2024 and be completed within 27 months.

CyanConnode's Omnimesh Modules are part of its Narrowband Radio Frequency (RF) Smart Mesh Networks, which are used for machine-to-machine communication. The modules will be used in the smart metering deployment project to enable advanced metering infrastructure, standards-based hardware, services, and Omnimesh Head-End Software. The deployment will be completed under a DBFOOT (Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, Transfer) model, with a support and maintenance contract in effect for seven and a half years after the go-live stage.

With this order, CyanConnode's overall order book for India has reached 5 million modules, of which 1.9 million modules have already been delivered. The remaining 3.1 million modules will be delivered according to the project timelines.
