Critical Metals plc has announced the commencement of groundworks for the rehabilitation of a 17-mile public road leading to the Molulu Project, an ex-producing copper cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The company has also appointed a DRC-based contractor, DRC GREEN, to update the Environmental Impact Study (EIS) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) at Molulu as part of its ESG commitments.

The road upgrades are aimed at ensuring that the Project infrastructure can support increased traffic and the effects of the rainy season, as the company focuses on recommencing production at Molulu and resuming sales of stockpiled copper ore. The improved infrastructure will also benefit the surrounding community as part of the company's ongoing ESG commitments. The road contractor has estimated that the works may take between 60 and 90 days.

Photos and videos documenting the progress of the groundworks will be shared on the company's social media channels in due course. For further information, individuals can visit the company's website or follow them on social media.

This update showcases Critical Metals plc's commitment to not only advancing its mining projects but also to environmental and social responsibility in the regions where it operates.
