Costain Group PLC professionals have been awarded The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Fellowship, the highest grade of membership and a globally recognized mark of professional excellence. The fellowship is awarded in recognition of the significant contribution engineers have made to the profession and is an endorsement of leadership knowledge, skills, and experience. One of the new ICE Fellows, Kath Sanders, a business systems and risk manager in the roads sector, expressed her honor at being accepted as a Fellow of the ICE, stating, "I feel very honored to have been accepted as a Fellow of the ICE, to be recognized by my peers and leaders of the industry as having made a significant contribution to civil engineering." Since becoming a Fellow, Sanders has been asked to speak at the ICE Connects: Women in Fellowship hybrid event, an event that she attended last year and gave her the confidence to apply for the Fellowship. This event allows women and industry allies to unite and explore the importance of diversity across the industry.
