Cornish Metals Inc. has released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its South Crofty Tin Project in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The focus of the MRE is the Lower Mine area, specifically the tin-only section. The MRE shows a 31.6% increase in contained tin in the Indicated category compared to the previous estimate in 2021. The Inferred category also saw a 15.5% increase in contained tin. The majority of the new Mineral Resources are located in the central part of the mine, following the digitization and modeling of historical data. The major lode structures that make up the Mineral Resource remain open along strike and at depth. The MRE was prepared by Cornish Metals' in-house geology team and independently reviewed and verified by AMC Consultants. An updated NI 43-101 Technical Report will be filed within 45 days of the announcement. CEO Richard Williams stated that this is a positive development for the South Crofty project as they work towards delivering a Feasibility Study by the end of 2024 and continue to demonstrate the potential to increase the project's Mineral Resource and mine life.
