Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited has announced that its acquisition of Speed Fibre Group has been cleared under the United Kingdom's National Security and Investment Act 2021. The acquisition is expected to close later this month. Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited primarily invests in data centers, fiber-optic networks, and telecommunication and broadcast towers in Europe and North America. The company has successfully raised £795 million in equity and €200 million through a Eurobond, deploying the proceeds into four acquisitions. Speed Fibre Group is Ireland's leading open access fiber infrastructure provider, operating through its subsidiaries Enet and Magnet Plus. Enet manages Ireland's metropolitan area networks, while Magnet Plus operates the country's largest independent connectivity network.
