Cordiant Digital Infrastructure Limited has announced that its Polish portfolio company, Emitel S.A., has won a nationwide tender to extend digital broadcast coverage for 17 regional radio stations for state broadcaster, Polskie Radio. Under the new agreement, Emitel will extend the existing coverage of DAB+ digital signal from 67% to 88% of Poland's households. The contract, which runs until Q3 2027, has a gross value of PLN59.5 million (approximately £12 million) and revenues are index-linked to inflation. Emitel's CEO, Andrzej Kozłowski, expressed pride in implementing the expansion of DAB+ coverage, highlighting the benefits of digital radio such as improved sound quality and the ability to broadcast more channels and additional features. Steven Marshall, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Emitel and Co-Founder of Cordiant Digital Infrastructure, stated that the contract win validates their Buy, Build & Grow model and will create value for shareholders.
