Calnex Solutions PLC, a leading provider of test and measurement solutions for the global telecommunications and cloud computing markets, has provided an update on its operations and trading ahead of its Annual General Meeting. The company highlighted the on-track launch of the major Paragon-Neo release in H2 FY25, focused on 800Gb/s synchronization testing, and the successful launch of SNE-X with 400GbE interfaces in H1 FY25 to capitalize on customer demand across the cloud computing and data center markets.
The company has made good progress with the Paragon-Neo release, with the first pre-production unit undergoing testing with positive initial feedback. The SNE-X launch has been successful, catering to customer demand across cloud computing and data center markets. Additionally, Calnex has established a new channel partner network operational across North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as Asia-Pacific, following the termination of its reseller agreement with Spirent.
Despite the challenging telecoms market, the company is encouraged by the early successes of its new product releases and anticipates its performance in FY25 to be in line with market expectations. Calnex continues to maintain tight cost control measures and is seeking to establish direct supplier agreements with key customers to enhance relationships. The company remains confident that the new multi-channel arrangement will be earnings enhancing.
