Barclays PLC has announced the purchase and cancellation of a significant number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each on the London Stock Exchange. The company purchased 3,328,000 ordinary shares from J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of its buy-back program. The highest price paid per share was 213.1500p, the lowest was 209.6500p, and the volume weighted average price paid per share was 211.4686p. Following the cancellation of the repurchased shares, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 14,978,976,984 ordinary shares with voting rights, with no ordinary shares held in Treasury.

The company has purchased 233,211,181 ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange in aggregate at a volume weighted average price of 182.9062p per ordinary share since the commencement of the share buy-back program announced on 21 February 2024. Shareholders and others with notification obligations can use the figure 14,978,976,984 as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
