Balfour Beatty, an international infrastructure group, has announced the appointment of Nick Crossfield as the CEO of its UK Construction Services business. Crossfield, who brings over 40 years of experience in industrial and engineering industries, will be responsible for the strategic leadership of Balfour Beatty's UK Construction Services business, focusing on further developing its presence in the growing infrastructure market, including energy, defense, and sustainable transportation sectors.
Nick Crossfield, who currently serves as the Managing Director of Alstom Transportation's UK and Ireland business, will join Balfour Beatty later this year. He will report directly to Group Chief Executive, Leo Quinn, and will sit on the Executive Committee. Crossfield's extensive experience and understanding of the markets in which Balfour Beatty operates make him well-positioned to lead the UK Construction Services business.
Balfour Beatty's UK Construction Services business consists of three business units: Scotland, Buildings, and Civils, as well as specialist brands Balfour Beatty Living Places, Balvac, and Balfour Beatty Homes. The company aims to continue the successful delivery of national and local infrastructure across the UK under Crossfield's leadership.
