Balfour Beatty Living Places has been awarded a £330 million six-year Highways Maintenance contract extension by Lincolnshire County Council. The extension will extend the current six-year contract until Spring 2032. Balfour Beatty Living Places will continue to maintain the region's 9,240 kilometers of carriageways, provide drainage cleaning services, and carry out winter and reactive highways maintenance. The company will utilize its state-of-the-art Operational Control Hub to monitor activities in real-time and drive efficiencies across the local road network. The hub allows for prompt addressing of network issues, efficient organization of works, and streamlined defect reporting. The contract will employ a workforce of 183, including 10 apprenticeship and graduate positions.
