Balfour Beatty PLC has announced the appointment of Gabrielle (Gabby) Costigan MBE as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 8 March 2024. Following the Annual General Meeting on 9 May, Costigan will succeed Stuart Doughty CMG as Chair of the Safety & Sustainability Committee. Costigan brings a wealth of experience, having served in the Australian Army for 21 years and held leadership roles in the logistics and defense industries.

Lord Charles Allen of Kensington, CBE and Chair of Balfour Beatty, expressed gratitude to Stuart Doughty for his nine years of service as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Safety & Sustainability Committee. He also welcomed Costigan, highlighting her extensive experience in large, complex international organizations and regulated markets, which makes her a valuable addition to the board.
