Balfour Beatty, in partnership with National Highways, has successfully reopened the M25 seven hours ahead of schedule following the completion of the latest stage of improvement works for the Junction 10 improvement scheme. The M25 between Junction 10 and 11 was closed for the third time this year, with Balfour Beatty installing 72 concrete beams and lifting two new gantries into place during the closure. Howard Williams, Balfour Beatty Project Director, expressed gratitude to colleagues, supply chain partners, and the public for their support. The company will now focus on constructing the next modular bridge offsite, to be wheeled into place later this year. The Junction 10 improvement scheme is expected to be completed in Summer 2025.
