Ascential plc has announced that Mandy Gradden, a director of the company, has been granted a conditional award of 74,349 ordinary shares under the Ascential plc Executive Performance Share Plan (PSP). The award is subject to the terms of the PSP and will typically vest on the third anniversary of the grant, provided that the grantee accepts the terms of the award, continues their service, and meets the performance conditions. Additionally, Philip Thomas, who will become Chief Executive of the company upon completion of the Digital Commerce Sale, has been granted an award equivalent to 200% of his base salary. The award is subject to financial and strategic performance criteria and is his sole long-term incentive award for 2023. The award to Gradden is subject to the same strategic performance criteria as Thomas' award and supplements the award she received on February 24, 2023, which included financial performance criteria. The awards align both individuals with Ascential's ongoing strategy post the disposals of the company's Digital Commerce business and its Product Design business. The awards are consistent with the company's shareholder-approved Remuneration Policy.
