Amaroq Minerals Ltd., an independent mine development corporation with gold and strategic mineral assets in Southern Greenland, has announced that its shares will be admitted to the OMX Iceland 15 Index. The index measures the performance of the most traded and largest securities listed on Nasdaq Iceland, with a maximum of 15 constituents. The admission will take place on January 2, 2024. The company's principal asset is the Nalunaq Project, an advanced exploration stage property with an exploitation license that includes the previously operating Nalunaq gold mine. Amaroq Minerals is incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act and wholly owns Nalunaq A/S, incorporated under the Greenland Public Companies Act.
