Amaroq Minerals Ltd. has announced the results of its 2023 exploration drilling program at the Nalunaq project in Southern Greenland. The drilling program focused on the Mountain Block, which is the planned area for the company's initial mining program set to begin in 2024. The results of the drilling program revealed the highest grade drill results at Nalunaq since the company was founded in 2017. The drilling program confirmed the extension of the high-grade zone and discovered a new high-grade vein, referred to as the '75 Vein', which significantly increases Nalunaq's resource potential. The highest grade intersect reported was 182g/t Au over 0.69m, which is the company's highest grade Main Vein intersect ever reported. The results provide valuable information for mine design and planning and support the company's objective of expanding the Mineral Resource at Nalunaq towards 1Moz and potentially beyond. The company plans to continue underground exploration and drill planning on the Target Block high-grade zone and expects further results from the 75 Vein. The drilling results confirm the effectiveness of the company's Dolerite Dyke Model method used to define high-grade regions in the Main Vein.
