Change of Auditor
Alliance Pharma plc (AIM: APH), the international healthcare group, announces that, following a tender process, it has appointed Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte") as its auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2022. KPMG LLP ("KPMG"), its outgoing auditor of six years, did not participate in this tender process.
KPMG has submitted to the Company, in accordance with section 519 of the Companies Act 2006, a letter stating its reason for resigning. A copy of KPMG's letter has, in accordance with section 520 of the Companies Act 2006, today been sent to all shareholders, along with an explanatory letter from the Company. Any proposal to re-appoint Deloitte as auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2023 will be subject to approval by the Group's shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in 2023.
