Alien Metals Limited has announced the receipt of all results from the recent resource definition core drilling program at its Hancock Iron Ore Project in Western Australia. The drilling program consisted of 13 diamond core holes, totaling 1,049 meters, at the company's Sirius Deposit. The initial batch of assays had already reported high-grade mineralization. The final assay results confirm exceptional direct ship ore grades, as well as excellent widths and depth continuity of the proposed Sirius Mining Pit.
Some significant results from the final tranche of assays include 52.8 meters at 60.9% iron (Fe) from 1 meter, including high-grade intercepts of 40 meters at 61.5% Fe from 13 meters from Drill Hole 23IHD013. Another result is 61.2 meters at 60.8% Fe from 1 meter, including high-grade intercepts of 31.9 meters at 61.6% Fe from 22.2 meters from Drill Hole 23IHD010. Additionally, there is 57 meters at 60.6% Fe from 13 meters, including high-grade intercepts of 40.5 meters at 61.3% Fe from 27 meters from Drill Hole 23IHD008. Another notable result is 78.2 meters at 60.4% Fe from 43.7 meters, including high-grade intercepts of 11.3 meters at 61.0% Fe from 110.6 meters from Drill Hole 23IHD007. Lastly, there is 98.5 meters at 59.4% Fe from 1.5 meters, including high-grade intercepts of 47.3 meters at 60.3% Fe from 14.1 meters and 9 meters at 62.6% Fe from 91 meters from Drill Hole 23IHD005.
These final assay results complement and reinforce the grades from the first tranche of assay results. The company is pleased with the significant intersections of high-grade direct ship ore (DSO) confirmed at the Hancock Project. The results demonstrate the potential of the project and support the company's ongoing exploration and development efforts.
