Alien Metals Limited has provided an update on its 100% owned Pinderi Hills silver and precious metals project in Western Australia, following an independent review by Resource Potentials Pty Ltd. The project, covering 180 square kilometers in the West Pilbara mining province, contains a unique combination of platinum group metals (PGM), gold, nickel-copper (Ni-Cu), and lithium exploration targets. The current resource base includes significant PGM and gold resources at Munni Munni and historic silver resources at Elizabeth Hill.
Based on a reverse circulation drilling program completed in November 2022, the company is confident that the resources at Pinderi Hills can be significantly expanded, potentially hosting a Tier 1 Precious Metals and Ni-Cu project. The project is located close to major infrastructure, 50km south of Karratha, providing necessary support for exploration and mining in the region.
Following the independent review, the company plans to expedite exploration and potentially increase the resource base and find new deposits. The exploration activities are scheduled to take place in Q3 2024, including soil geochemical surveys over the main Ni-Cu target areas and Judys Reef PGM trends.
Robert Mosig, Technical Director, expressed the company's plans to develop the Elizabeth Hills Silver Mine and further its understanding of base metals deposits as they explore new opportunities in the area. Alien Metals Limited's strategic focus on precious and base metals targets at Pinderi Hills is supported by a recently announced strategic lithium joint venture with Errawarra Resources.
