Alba Mineral Resources PLC has announced the identification of three gold targets through the review and interpretation of magnetic data from an airborne survey conducted over the Dolgellau Gold Belt (DGB). The targets are located within the Company's 100% owned Clogau-St David's Gold Mine and the Dolgellau Gold Exploration Project. The survey has provided detailed information guiding the identification of specific exploration targets, marking a significant advancement in technology since the last regional survey in the 1970s.

The targets identified within the Clogau-St David's survey area align with the geological model developed over the years. The survey data has corroborated the identification of vein structures parallel to the main Clogau vein, providing potential new gold-bearing vein structures. The advantage of two of the targets being in-mine is the accessibility for underground drilling, offering a quicker and cost-effective way to prove up these potentially new gold-bearing vein structures.

The interpretation of the airborne survey over the Clogau prospect has generated three new targets of immediate interest, which will undergo further exploration to confirm whether they host mineralized quartz veins. The targeted gold quartz veins are typically associated with normal faulting of east to north-east strike, and the magnetic discontinuities identified in the survey data are regarded as potential sites for further ground investigations.

Alba's COO and Senior Geologist, Mark Austin, expressed excitement about the developments and looks forward to the reporting of interpretations of the Castell Carndochan and Hafod Owen survey areas to reveal further targets over this highly prospective and underexplored gold belt. The Company conducted unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) magnetic surveys targeting the Clogau, Castell Carndochan, and Hafod Owen gold prospects within the DGB, with the interpretation of the survey over the latter two prospects awaited and to be reported on in due course.

The identification of these new targets marks a significant step forward in Alba's exploration efforts, providing potential opportunities for further gold exploration and development within the Dolgellau Gold Belt.
