AFC Energy, a provider of hydrogen power generation technologies, has agreed to purchase certain mobile hydrogen storage and distribution assets from Octopus Hydrogen. The acquisition will strengthen AFC Energy's position in the UK hydrogen value chain and support the deployment of its H-Power Generator sets across the country. The assets acquired from Octopus Hydrogen include two mobile hydrogen refueling stations, mobile trailers, and a hydrogen compressor. These assets will enable AFC Energy to offer end-to-end hydrogen fueling solutions to its customers and partners. The company's CEO, Adam Bond, stated that the acquisition is the next step in demonstrating the viability of hydrogen as a replacement for diesel in off-grid power environments.
