Acer has announced the launch of the new Nitro 14 and Nitro 16 gaming laptops, both powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 Series processors with Ryzen AI. These laptops are equipped with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPUs supported by DLSS 3.5 technology, backed by NVIDIA's RTX AI platform, providing enhanced gaming experiences through AI capabilities in over 500 games and applications. The laptops feature 14- and 16-inch NVIDIA G-SYNC compatible panels with up to WQXGA (2560x1600) resolution, providing immersive visuals for gamers.
The Nitro 14 (AN14-41) combines a sleek design with powerful components, including an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor with Ryzen AI and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with DLSS 3.5 technology. It features a 14-inch WQXGA display with 120 Hz refresh rate, 9 ms response time, and sRGB 100% gamut support. The laptop also incorporates a dual-fan system with Vortex Flow for enhanced cooling, liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU, and a range of connectivity features including USB 4, USB 3.2 Type C ports, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader.
The Nitro 16 (AN16-43) is designed for high computing performance, featuring the top-of-the-line AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor with Ryzen AI and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU with DLSS 3.5 technology. It boasts a 16-inch WQXGA display with 500 nits brightness, 165 Hz refresh rate, and 3 ms response time. The laptop also offers AI noise reduction and automatic framing abilities for videoconferencing, along with a streamlined thermal design, Wi-Fi 6E, and a range of connectivity options.
Both laptops come with AI features such as Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 for noise reduction, Acer PurifiedView for video optimization, and Microsoft Copilot in Windows for accelerating everyday tasks. The NitroSense application allows users to customize game and performance settings, fan speeds, and the RGB keyboard lighting, providing a comprehensive control center for the AI-related features. Additionally, users will receive one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with every device, offering access to a wide range of high-quality PC games.
