Accrol Group Holdings PLC has announced the completion of its acquisition of Severn Delta Limited, a wet wipe and tumble dryer sheet manufacturer based in Somerset. The acquisition, funded from the company's existing cash reserves, is aimed at broadening the company's product offering and strengthening its position in the household products market. Severn Delta's operations include the manufacturing of biodegradable personal care, household, and disinfectant wet wipes, as well as tumble dryer sheets.

The acquisition is part of Accrol's strategy to expand into other household products through strategic and complementary acquisitions. It is expected to bring additional capacity and new capabilities to Accrol's growing wet wipe segment. The company aims to leverage its existing relationships with UK retailers and grocers, as well as benefit from cross-selling to the new key accounts Severn Delta brings.
